1.Dairy farmers produce a awesome 100 kg of butter and 65 kg of cheese each year for each person living in New Zealand.

2. 30% of the country is forest!?


3. This was the first country to have its three top positions of power held simultaneously      (This means: Same Time) by women.

2. I live in Yaldhurst CHCH

    You've chosen some really interesting facts here, Ethan. Can you tell me why you picked these particular ones? One of my favourite facts about New Zealand is that our very first capital was a small town called Okiato which is just a 5 minute drive from where I grew up.

    Wow! You live on a farm? What's that like? What kinds of animals do you have? I live in Auckland at the moment but I come from a small coastal town in the north of the North Island, where I lived only 5 minutes walk from the beach. That was my favourite thing about living there. What's your favourite thing about your hometown?
